CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN PROGRAM

The Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Program at Safe Care Health School equips you with the hands-on skills necessary to collect blood samples, perform lab tests, and assist in diagnostic procedures. In just 2 months (120 hours), you’ll gain expertise in drawing blood, understanding lab tests, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures. Eligibility Requirements 


To enroll in the Phlebotomy Technician Program, you must: 

  1. Be 18 years or older. 
  2. Education: No prior healthcare experience needed. Just bring your passion and willingness to learn.
  3. Provide the following documents: 

  • High school diploma or graduation certificate. 
  • Social Security number. 
  • Driver’s license or government-issued ID. 
  • Physical Examination and Immunizations.
  • Passport-sized photo.

Program Outline

Duration: 2 months

Total Hours:  120

 Schedule:

  • Morning Batch: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
  • Evening Batch: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Module 1: Basics of phlebotomy and ethical practices.

Module 2: Blood vessel anatomy and vital signs.

Module 3: Infection control and lab testing.

Module 4: Blood collection methods (venipuncture, capillary).

Module 5: Pediatric, geriatric, and special collections (e.g., glucose tests).
